Ask for across road connections
Where a survey plan shows the width of a feature such as a road or easement, this can be considered as an "implied dimension".
This tool makes use of this type of information to generate a connection across a road at each bend.
The tool can be turned on or off using the "functions" menu in the parcel editor.
When the parcel is complete and the "Apply" button is pressed a pop up box will ask for the road width at each road line segment
After a road width has been set for all the road lines (Line Type 21), an across road connection will be generated at each road bend.
In the example, across road connections have been added to points 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
If the road width changes between adjacent segments, this will be allowed for in the calculation of the across road connection.
